What is the level of human excellence? To this question in everyone’s mind, an apt answer is provided by the Upanishadic thinkers. Endowed with clarity of mind and purity of living, these thinkers achieved the answer to this question through a life of self-discipline and meditation; and in beautiful exposition and impressive dialogs and fine snatches of poetry, they bequeathed it to posterity. That has made this literature of Upanishads immortal.
